Kelly Burk was elected Mayor in November 2016. She was first elected to the Leesburg Town Council in May 2004 and was re-elected to the Council in the April 2012 Special Election and again in November 2014. She served as Vice Mayor from January 2015 through December 2016.
In November 2007, Kelly was elected to represent the Leesburg District on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. She served on the Board from 2008 through 2011. During her tenure with Loudoun County, she chaired the Board's Transportation and Land Use Committee.
Mayor Burk represents the Town of Leesburg on the following:

- Northern Virginia Regional Commission
- Northern Virginia Transportation Authority Advisory Committee
- Virginia Municipal League Human Development and Education Committee
A Leesburg resident since 1979, Kelly was a special education teacher with Loudoun County Public Schools and retired in June 2014. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from George Washington University and a Master's Degree in Middle School Curriculum and Instruction from Virgina Tech. Kelly is a past president of the Loudoun Education Association (1996-2000) and served on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Education Association from 1994 to 2000. In 2001, the Loudoun Commission on Women honored Kelly as the Woman of the Year for Education and Training.

Suzanne Fox was elected to the Leesburg Town Council in November 2014 and took office on January 1, 2015. She is the Council's representative to the Virginia Municipal League's Finance Committee.
In addition, Council Member Fox currently serves on Loudoun County’s Court House Grounds and Facilities Committee.
Council Member Fox is the owner of Legacy Weddings, a wedding planning/coordinating business, and is a Civil Celebrant for the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition, she and her husband, Bill own and operate Weddings on Wirt Street, a small wedding venue in downtown Leesburg.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Brigham Young University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Council Member Fox and her family moved to Leesburg in 2003.

Ron Campbell was elected to Town Council in November 2016. Prior to his election to Council, he served on the Leesburg Technology and Communications Commission and the Leesburg Environmental Commission. He is currently member of the Loudoun County Community Criminal Justice Board. Previously, Ron served on two Virginia state task forces on sexual violence, one dealing with institutions of higher education and one with K-12 schools, led by then Lt Governor Don Beyer.
Council Member Campbell represents the Town of Leesburg on the Virginia Municipal League's Community and Economic Development Committee.
Council Member Campbell was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. Through school and work, he has lived in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Minnesota. He has been a resident of Leesburg since 2001.
Ron graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in New York City, has a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Human Services and Guidance from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. In addition, Ron has completed doctoral coursework in Human Sexuality from the University of Pennsylvania.
Council Member Campbell worked in higher education administration for over 27 years, including as the Associate Vice President for Student Development and Athletics at the University of Minnesota. In 2000, Ron established his own business development consulting company, College Business Concepts, LLC. From 2012 to 2015, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for the National Association of College and University Auxiliary Services, located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Ron is an active member of Holy & Whole Life Changing Ministries International Church in Lansdowne, VA, the Loudoun County NAACP and the Leesburg Daybreak Rotary. Ron and his wife Barbara have an active family life with four children: Joshua (Pam), Serena (Justin) Steven and Jarrett (Belinda) and six grandchildren: Christian, Cameron, Maxwell, Orion, Riley and Ava.

Tom Dunn was first elected to Town Council on 2008. He holds a B.S. degree in Social Studies from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg. He is one of the Town's two members of the Annexation Area Development Policy Committee.
Council Member Dunn currently serves on the Loudoun County Planning Commission, representing the Leesburg District. Prior to being elected to the Town Council, Council Member Dunn served on the Leesburg Planning Commission and the Leesburg Economic Development Commission. He previously served as the council liaison to the Leesburg Thomas Balch Library Commission and the Board of Architectural Review.
Council Member Dunn is a Certified Planning Commissioner and has 16 years experience in mortgage banking. He formerly served with the U.S. Army Combat Engineers for eight years and is currently the president of VCR, Inc., a marketing company he founded.
Council Member Dunn has been and continued to be an active community volunteer, having held various volunteer positions with the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Little League, Youth Football, Balls Bluff PTO and Loudoun County School of Ballet. He directed youth summer camps at Morven Park, Oatlands and the Loudoun Museum and is a volunteer tour guide at Balls Bluff Battlefield. He is a member of the Leesburg Downtown Business Association and the Christian Fellowship Church.
Hugh Forsythe, Council Member

Hugh Forsythe was appointed to the Leesburg Town Council on January 9, 2017, to fill the council seat vacated by Mayor Kelly Burk. He will serve until the special election in November 2017. He is one of the Town's two members on the Annexation Area Development Policy Committee and represents the Town on the Virginia Municipal League's Environmental Quality Committee.
Council Member Forsythe retired from the United States Air Force in 2006 at the rank of Major General. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he is a command pilot with over 4,500 hours of military flight time and 18,000 hours of civilian flight time. Following his Air Force career, Council Member Forsythe flew for United Airlines, Air India and a number of corporate and charter companies. He is currently an Operations Controller for United Airlines and consults with Bye Aerospace, Inc. on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle development. Council Member Forsythe was previously the Director of Operations for Potomac Flight Charter, located at the Leesburg Executive Airport.
Council Member Forsythe is on the board of Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers and has served on the planning committee for the annual Leesburg Airshow. He and his wife, Judy, have lived in Leesburg for 20 years.

Marty Martinez was elected to his first term on Town Council in May 2002 and served as Vice Mayor from July 2004 to June 2006. He earned his B.S. degrees in Economics and Computer Science from Portland State University. He represents the Town of the Virginia Municipal League's General Laws Committee.
Council Member Martinez previously served as Council's liaison to the Leesburg Economic Development Commission, the former Leesburg Information Technology Commission and the former Leesburg Cable Television Advisory Commission. Before his election to Council, he served on the Loudoun County Parks and Recreation Commission as well as the Loudoun County Community Services Advisory Board. Council Member Martinez also co-chaired the 2009 Keep Leesburg Beautiful event held in April.
Originally from California, Council Member Martinez proudly served his country (during the Vietnam-era conflict) in the United States Air Force for over seven years. He has resided in the Town of Leesburg with his wife Doris and children since 1993 and is currently working as a consultant for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and employed by SAIC. He is active in the community, participating and coaching several youth and adult sports leagues and previously serving as a Den Leader for Boy and Girl Scouts. He has served as President and member of several school organizations (founded Heritage High School Project Grad) and helped to co-found the Boys and Girls Club of Loudoun County and La Voz, a Hispanic Advocacy Group. He is currently serving as vice-chair on the Board of Directors for the Paxton Campus, which is a full service organization for children with special needs. He has also been appointed by the Governor to serve on the Aerospace Advisory Council.

Kenneth “Ken” Reid was most recently elected to Town Council in November 2016. He is the Council's representative on the following::

Council Member Reid was first elected to Council in May 2006 and was reelected in May 2010. In November 2011, Ken was elected to represent the Leesburg District on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. He served on the Board from 2012 through 2015 and chose not to run for re-election. During his tenure with Loudoun County, he chaired the Joint School Board/Board of Supervisors Committee and served on the Finance and Government Services Committee. He represented Loudoun County on the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission, Council of Governments Region Forward Coalition, serving one year as Vice Chair, Northern Virginia Workforce Development Board and Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) Transportation Subcommittee.
During his first two terms on Council, Ken was liaison to the Northern Virginia Regional Commission and the Dulles Area Transportation Association and represented the Town on the Virginia Municipal League Transportation Committee. He served as liaison to the Town's Economic Development Commission, Board of Architectural Review, Tree Commission and Standing Residential Traffic Committee.
By profession, Ken is the owner of Washington Information Source Co. (www.FDAInfo.com), a small publishing and distribution business located in Leesburg. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Ken and his wife, Dr. Lynn Reid, Ph.d., have been residents of Leesburg since 2002. They are parents to twins, James and Lara, who are both college juniors He is a member of CHABAD Synagogue in Herndon.
