On the evening of May 3rd, 2012, the Leesburg Police Department was notified that the second driver involved in the crash on May 2, 2012 did not survive. Shannon C. Donley, age 48, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the crash that occurred on the Leesburg Bypass. Family members of Donley notified the department of his death.
The crash occurred on May 2nd, 2012 at 1:06: PM on the Leesburg Bypass between the South King Street entrance ramp and the Dulles Greenway (Route 267) entrance ramp.
