The primary function of the Leesburg Public Information Office is to provide accurate, comprehensive and timely information about Town events, programs and services to citizens and visitors. During emergency situations, the focus becomes providing communication about Town activities, existing conditions and general information to citizens, visitors and other public agencies. Communication with the community is critical to ensuring citizens are provided with information on the day-to-day operation of their local government, and even more importantly, information in emergency situations to enhance their ability to respond properly and maintain their safety.
