Note: The Watershed Committee's October meeting is cancelled. The next meeting will be held on November 4.
The Leesburg Town Council originally created the Leesburg Watershed Committee in 2007 to develop implementation recommendations for the Tuscarora Creek Watershed Study. Today, the Watershed Committee works to protect streams throughout the Town regardless of whether they are in the Tuscarora Creek Watershed. Comprised of members of the community, area business, development industry, environmental organizations, schools and Town commissions and staff, the Watershed Committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5pm in the Ida Lee Recreation Center.
