Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) hears and decides cases for variance requests, appeals of administrative decisions, and appeals of zoning map interpretations. The BZA is a quasi-judicial body whose members are appointed by the Chief Judge of Loudoun County Circuit Court for 5-year terms.

Meetings
As necessary, the BZA meets on the 1st Monday of every month at 7:30pm in Town Hall at 25 West Market Street. Meetings are held in the 2nd floor Council Chamber or the lower level conference room, and are open to the public as provided for in the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.

Note the submission filing deadline is 5 weeks prior to a scheduled meeting at 5pm, and the publication deadline is the Friday prior to the newspaper publication date
