(SEWERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL) SECTION 34-127 (AVAILABILITY CHARGE FOR SEWER SERVICE) OF THE LEESBURG TOWN CODE TO EXTEND
TIME FOR PAYMENT OF AVAILABILITY CHARGES
The LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL will hold a public hearing on TUESDAY, September 14, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of Town Hall, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg, Virginia, 20176, to consider the amendment of Chapter 34 (Utilities), Article II (Water System), Section 34-29 (Availability Charges for Water Service) and Chapter 34 (Utilities ) Article III (Sewers and Sewage Disposal) Section 34-127 (Availability charge for sewer service) of the Leesburg Town Code to extend the time for payment of availability fees to coincide with a commercial lease but for no more than 5 years for the fee in excess of $10,000 for water service and $15,000 for sewer service. The following code sections will be addressed:
Sec. 34-29 (b). To amend this section to extend the time for payment of availability fees for water service for the fee over $10,000 from not more than 24 months to coincide with a commercial lease but for not more than 60 months.
Sec. 34-127(b). To amend this section to extend the time for payment of availability fees for the fee over $15,000 for sewer service from not more than 24 months to coincide with a commercial lease but for not more than 60 months.
